Our client is a leading global provider of communication and information systems for control centres tasked with safety-critical operations. The company develops and distributes advanced control centre solutions across two core sectors: Air Traffic Management (including civil and military air traffic control as well as air defence) and Public Safety & Transport (supporting police, fire and rescue services, emergency medical response, maritime, and railway operations).
We are currently seeking a highly experienced Program Manager to lead the successful delivery of complex technical programs. This is a pivotal leadership role that spans cross-functional teams and major projects, contributing directly to the organisation’s reputation for delivering excellence in safety-critical environments.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead end-to-end program execution across the full project lifecycle, from initiation and planning to rollout and handover
Manage project teams, resources, subcontractors, and stakeholders to ensure delivery excellence
Oversee integrated planning, scheduling, budgeting, and reporting in alignment with internal and customer expectations
Mitigate commercial, contractual, and technical risks through proactive risk management strategies
Ensure program milestones and deliverables are met within scope, time, and budget
Direct procurement, logistics, and financial forecasting activities in collaboration with procurement and finance teams
Champion customer satisfaction and long-term value delivery
Required Skills and Experience:
Tertiary qualifications in Engineering, IT, Computer Science, or equivalent
Proven experience managing large-scale, technical programs, preferably in air traffic management, defence, or safety-critical industries
Strong background in project and stakeholder management, team leadership, and cross-functional collaboration
Deep understanding of Cisco and Juniper hardware, IOS/ISE environments, WAN networks, and encryption technologies
Demonstrated success in financial forecasting, contract management, and vendor oversight
Excellent problem solving, interpersonal, and communication skills
Resilient and proactive, with a hands on mindset in complex delivery scenarios
Ideally, a background in mission-critical infrastructure or systems
